How Do I Complete My Review?

After the Administrator has launched a review cycle, you and your Manager will add your comments to the review package. 

  • You will receive an email that notifies you that the review has started. You can click on the link in the email to access the review.

  • You can also access your review by navigating to your employee file and expand the Review section. This will bring up a list of your Completed and In Progress reviews.
  • To access the review that you need to fill out, click on the review title.

  • Review packages are customizable by the Administrator; included may be Kudos & Notes, Goals, Skills, Shared Feedback, as well as a customizable questionnaire, depending on how the administrator created the review template.
  • Once you click on your review, this will direct you to the Review Summary page:
    • The top of the review shows the name of the review (template)
    • On the left side you can see what performance management features are included in the review (Kudos & Notes, Goals, Skills, Feedback, Questionnaire)
    • The Review Overview displays your job position, hired date, and completed reviews (if any).
    • It also shows the review progress and Due Date.
  • To navigate to the next section of the review package, click the next section in the grey box.

 

Kudos & Notes Section (if enabled)

    • Click the link that says "click here to add comments" and enter comments in the space provided. Click on Save Comment.
    • This section will have one comment box above your Kudos and Notes.

Goals Section (if enabled)

    • Click the link that says "click here to add comments" and enter comment in the space provided. Click on Save Comment
    • This section will have one comment box above all your goals (Completed and In Progress).

Skills Section (if enabled)

    • Rate how each Skill is relative to your own expectations and add comments. Click on Save Skill.
    • This section will have a rating question and a comment box for each Skill.

Feedback Section (if enabled)

    • Click the link that says "click here to add comments" and enter comment in the space provided. Click on Save Comment
    • This section will have one comment box above all your shared feedback.

Questionnaire Section

  • This section will contain questions and a corresponding text box for each question.
  • There are three types of questions: questions that are answered just by the employee, questions that are answered just by the manager and questions that are answered by both the employee and manager.
  • In the boxes below the questions that you need to answer type in your responses.

Save or Lock Comments

  • Click on Save Progress to save the comments and if you decide to go back and complete the part of the review in a later date.
  • If you haven't completed all the sections of your review, the Finish button will be greyed out and will not be available for you to click.
  • Once you have completed all the sections of the review, click Finish to lock the comments and proceed to the next step of the review process. 
  • The system will confirm if you wish to lock down your answers. Click the Finish button to finalize your responses.

  • This will bring you to the Review Package Overview screen.

Note: At this stage of the review process, your manager's comments are not visible to you.

  • You will receive an email notification once the manager has entered their comments on your review.

  • At this point it would be a great opportunity to have a meeting with your manager to discuss your review.
  • Then your manager has the opportunity to add final talking points to your review, normally these talking points come from the meeting you have with your manager. You will not be able to continue to the next part of the review process until the manager has completed these comments.
  • When the final comments have been added to your review by your manager, you will get an email notification letting you know. You can click on the link to navigate to the review package or access via your employee file. 

  • At this point, you'll be able to see your manager's comments and add any final comments you may have. 

  • Click File Review, to finalize the review and file it. This will complete the review and file it. Only do this once you are satisfied with your final talking points, you will not be able to go back and edit your response.

  • At this point, you'll be able to see your manager's talking points in each section of the review.
