How To Edit Individual Employee Files

If you are given permissions to Modify the Basic Employee Information, you can edit individual employee files.

  • Navigate to the employee file by using the search box in the top right hand corner of the page.

  • Click Edit Profile in the top right corner of the profile. This will bring you to the edit screen.

  • Employee profiles are broken up into four sections: 

Account Details

  • This page includes email address, username, account type, social media profile links and custom fields
  • Once done editing click on Save Details.

Employee Details

  • This page includes biographical data on the employee such as  street address, birthday, and contact information.
  • When editing employee details, you will be asked to set an "effective date" of the changes. This field allows TribeHR to keep track of the complete employee history of all changes in this page.
  • Once done editing click on Save Details.

Job Details

  • This page include information about the employee's position in the company such as manager, job title, and compensation.
  • For the Job Details, you will be asked set an "effective date" and "reason for change". This field allows TribeHR to keep track of the complete employee history of all changes throughout the employee's life cycle. You can view the timeline of changes at any time by going to the employee profile and clicking on "Employee History". Each date listed will provide a snapshot view of what was changed on that date. 
  • Once done editing click on Save Details.

Profile Picture

  • This page allows you to update the user's profile picture.
